On August 3rd, Kathleen Contrino came in from CW Native Plant Farms in Akron NY. With her direct and deep knowledge of the soil and relationships in the natural world, she explained how we can support native species in our own backyards.
Thea Lona Hassan from the Alliance for Mission Based Recyclers
On August 10th, we welcomed Thea Lona Hassan from the Alliance for Mission Based Recyclers. She brought in some surprising visual aids that helped her message hit home. Plastics pollution is a critical worldwide problem but she gave us a great overview and let us know how we can make a difference.
Each of the ecology leaders in the Seek to Find series were dynamic, well prepared and enlightening. Thank you to Marcus, Kathleen and Thea and also to all the people who came in to hear them speak. The effects of the series keep rippling outward.
